FAQs

What is waist training?

Waist training is a gradual process of waist reduction using a steel boned corset. Also known as waist cinching or tight-lacing the practice came to prominence in Victorian times but has made something of a comeback in recent years. Wearing a tight-lacing corset, exercise and eating a healthy diet can radically reduce the waist of women.

Furthermore, the wearing of a corset whilst undertaking a healthy diet helps reduce food volume intake by constricting the internal organs thus helping promote the healthier practice of smaller meals, more often, rather than three large meals a day.

Tight-lacing as a means of permanent waist-reduction and re-shaping is a practice requiring discipline and is best achieved when the following 3 components work in harmony:

  • Waist Cinching using a traditional steel-boned corset
  • Healthy Diet
  • Regular Exercise

How long should I wear my corset?

We recommend wearing the corset for at least 2-4 hours a day for the first week of starting your waist training and slowly progress to 4-6 hours a day or more when your body gets accustomed to it. We suggest wearing the corset along with moderate exercise and a healthy diet to see maximum results.

What corset is best for me?

Training corsets are recommended according to one’s torso style and shape. For shorter torso individuals, our Leila Short Gym Corset waist shaper with 2 hooks column is appropriate and for longer torso individual, any of our waist shapers are perfect. Before choosing the ideal corset for yourself you must know your exact measurements. Please keep in mind that our corsets do run small to tighten your waistline and give you the hourglass shape. We suggest you order a size up for comfort or your natural size for a tight fit to maximize your waist training results. Please review our sizing chart to determine which size is best for you.

How long will it take to see results?

There’s no short cut to achieve a slim waistline. We recommend wearing our corsets for at least 4-6 hours or more a day combined with a balanced diet and good exercise regime to maximize your results. Wearing a waist training corset is not a substitute for diet or exercise but when combined you do see results sooner. Choose your ideal training corset and help your body to get accustomed with it. Waist training requires discipline just like working out and eating right. Remember, moderation is the key to success!

Will wearing a waist cincher constrict or affect my organs?

Absolutely not. Our waist cinchers are made from latex and FlexBoning non-memory support inserts that bend with you, always contouring to your bodys natural shape which can never create enough pressure to disrupt your internal organs. Not to be confused with other corset training which are made out of metal steel boning and tightening laces. The tight lacing corset training forcefully tighten your waistline beyond your natural waist shape which can be dangerous to your health.

How do I wash my corset?
